Marcel van Gemerden
Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Marcel van Gemerden is the CEO and founder of SkyLounge. At the age 24 he started his first e-commerce company from his apartment in New York City and opened supporting retail locations in Boca Raton (Town Center), Boston (Copley Place), and Miami (Aventura Mall). The site was featured in Instyle magazine, The Miami Herald, Ocean Drive, NBC, Palm Beach Illustrated, and many more. At SkyLounge he manages the daily operations with a focus on PR and marketing. Marcel attended Institute Le Rosey (CH) and received a degree in International Business administration from the American University of Paris (1998)


Uba Alintah
Chief Technical Officer & Co-Founder

Uba Alintah is the CTO and co-founder of SkyLounge. Prior to SkyLounge Uba founded and managed Eraglobe Inc., a Washington, DC based Web Services/ IT company for 5 Years. Through Uba's knowledge of development, implementation and project management we are able to highly leverage our resources in terms of quality, functionality, productivity and efficiency. Uba is responsible for the overall performance and development of the platform. Uba attended Le Rosey (CH) and received a double degree in finance and International Business from Georgetown University (1996).
